Jim Bentley

Jim Bentley is a 5th grade educator in the Elk Grove Unified School District. He is passionate about integrating filmmaking, podcasting, and media literacy with project based learning, geographic information systems (GIS), and the National Geographic Geo-Inquiry Process across the curricula and with a special emphasis on environmental science. Bentley is a National Geographic Explorer with a Planetary Stewards Grant, a National Geographic Education Fellow, a KQED Media Literacy Innovator, and a PBLWorks National Faculty Emeritus.
