Born in Bogota, Colombia, Juan Pablo attended Catholic school from Pre-K to high school. He finished his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Finance at University of La Sabana in Chia, Colombia in 2001. During that time he also completed an International Trade Course and ESL English Language Pronunciation program at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. in 2000. After living in D.C. for a while and working at an international organization, Juan Pablo moved to Houston and decided it was time for a career change. He received his Bilingual Education Certificate from Texas in 2005. He attended summer education programs at both Harvard Graduate School of Education (2009) and the Graduate School of Education at Stanford University (2012). In 2015, he finished his Master of Arts in Bilingual Education and Leadership at Houston’s very own University of St. Thomas. He received an award from UST’s chapter of Kappa Delta Pi because of his GPA and zeal for education. Juan Pablo will graduate in May of 2022 from a Doctoral Program in Executive Educational Leaders from HBU in Houston, Texas. Juan Pablo is the director of Academics and High School at Gimnasio los Caobos.
